The fifth edition of the Translation and Localization Market in Poland took place on October 6 and 7 in Warsaw. Numerous and very interesting presentations were given during the conference on topics such as the correctness of the Polish language, the development of computer aided translation tools, localization project management, the common mistakes and pitfalls in the localization process made by translators and developers and machine translation (MT). C&M’s CEO, Michał Tyszkowski, PhD, delivered a presentation entitled „Jakoś tłumaczę kontra jakość tłumaczeń” (The Quantity of Translations vs. the Quality of Translations).The quality of dedicated to the widely recognized issues related to the quality of translations. The presentation received a warm welcome by the audience and was closed by a lively discussion on the different approaches to translation quality and the inherent difficulty in defining it.
