Since 2013, Centrum Lokalizacji C&M has been supporting the postgraduate education at the Philological School of Higher Education (WSF). As part of the initiative, members of our team run the "Computer assisted translation tools and their usage" course for the students of the Postgraduate Studies for Specialist and Sworn Translators and Interpreters of German.
The course of studies is built upon the C&M's proprietary educational program, which envelopes such items as CAT tools basics, quality assurance and control as well as an introduction to project management. We hope that this class fills a vast gap in educating translators in Poland due to which they enter the job market lacking essential knowledge and skills in the use of CAT tools.
